I don't know German Army quite well. Judging by the name I wasn't expecting this kind of sound. Tanna is an album that takes its time to grow but presents some unique moments, between almost ritualistic dark ambient, and tribal percussion. This is music to listen with closed eyes and sometimes you wonder if you're still on the same album... Percussive parts are really intense and in tune with the ambient synths in the background. Those moments are where the album really delivers in intensity.
