  UK noise/improv. duo Delphic Vapours (Owen Tromans and Seb Hunter) return with "Fatuous Romance", their first release since "Get Off Their Knees" for the Critical Heights label all the way back in 2011. In the meantime, both members have kept themselves busy - Owen with a slew of releases under his own name for Sacred Geometry and Seb with a bunch of books, albums with the band Provincials, and a film adaptation of Kiss's maligned 1981 concept album "Music from The Elder."
  
  "Fatuous Romance" brings together two live improvisations, including "For Lou", the infamous tribute to Lou Reed that the duo performed at Winchester, UK's Ancient and Modern in 2013. On the A-Side you'll find "Untitled C6X25b", an extended live jam taken from Delphic Vapours' appearance at the doubledotdash!?-curated Annual Noise Conference in 2014 alongside Bridget Hayden, knifedoutofexistence, Joe Marshall and other like-minded purveyors of racket.
